Mirehouse Poetry Prize

The Mirehouse Poetry Prize will again be awarded in 2008. This is given in tribute to our longstanding literary connections with writers including Tennyson and Southey and to celebrate the wealth of talent among today's poets.

The Mirehouse Poetry Prize is held in association with 'Words by the Water' a Cumbrian Literature Festival that is to be held in Keswick from the 29th of February to the 9th of March 2008. Please see the dedicated page on this website for more details.


Easter Hunt

The ever popular Easter Quiz will be held again on Easter Saturday and Sunday (22nd and 23rd March). Children can hunt for answers to the Easter Quiz in the walled Bee Garden at Mirehouse. There are 200 Easter eggs to be won as prizes for the correct answers.
