Opening times for 2008
1st March to 30th November:
The gardens, playgrounds, lakeside walk and tearoom are open daily (except Wednesdays in November) from 10am to 5.30pm.
Easter Sunday to end October:
The House is open on Sundays, Wednesdays (also Fridays in August) from 2pm to 5pm with last entries at 4.30pm. The House has more limited opening because it is a family home and to conserve the sensitive contents.
Group visits are possible at other times by appointment. The minimum group size is fifteen (£6.50 per head).
Admission charges 2008
Payable at The Old Sawmill Tearoom beside the car-park.
Grounds only: Adult £2.80
House & Grounds: Adult £5.60
Children half price.
Family ticket (two adults and up to four children) for House & Grounds: £15.50
£3 paid in parking at Dodd Wood car park is refundable against admissions to Mirehouse.

Dogs are welcome in the grounds on a short lead at all times. As the lakeside walk goes through a working farm, please keep dogs well away from livestock.
